easy insta-pot pastured chicken recipe
This recipe is my FAVORITE for cooking our pastured poultry.

-
You can cook your chicken frozen in under an hour or 30 minutes if thawed!
-
Chicken turns out super moist and just falls off the bone (regardless if cooked from frozen or thawed)
-
You can easily make broth after cooking the chicken to make the most of the whole animal in the same pot

INGREDIENTS:
-
One 4-5 lb pastured chicken (frozen or thawed)
-
Salt and Pepper (or poultry seasoning blend of your choice)
-
2 cups water (or homemade chicken broth)

INSTRUCTIONS:

-
Rinse and pat-dry chicken
-
Season liberally with salt and pepper (or seasoning of your choice)
-
Place seasoned chicken in insta-pot ( I leave the neck on for additional broth and flavor)
-
Pour 2 cups of water or chicken broth into instapot
-
Set insta-pot to high pressure for 30 minutes for thawed chicken or 45 minutes if frozen
-
Let pressure release naturally for an additional 10-15 minutes
-
Enjoy your amazingly delicious, nutritious, quick and easy chicken!
